Blogging on a Schedule


As you might have guessed by now, I have a serious ADD problem.  My attention is fleeting – I flit from one project to another, fully immersing myself in different activities in a random pattern.  I have an overwhelming collection of crafting supplies for instance.  Just about every tool, material and pattern you could dream of for fimo clay, jewelry making, sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, rubber band bracelets, duct tape crafting, spinning wool on a spinning wheel or on a drop spindle, scrapbooking, rubber stamping, calligraphy, etc – I have it all.  Currently, I’m working on knitting a shawl and I’m determined to finish this project before starting another.  The reason I’ve made as much progress as I have on that project is that it’s a charted lace pattern and I have to adhere to the chart.  It’s easy to see the progress I’ve made each time I finish a row and check it off.  I’ve decided that I need a similar plan for my blogging posts.  I recalled seeing a Blog Post form available on a site I frequently use to print different forms/papers.  I printed out a few of the templates and will sit down this week and work out what type of information I want to post each day of the week, so that this is not just a daily diary, but has some thought out content as well.
On the dieting front, I’ve been a bottomless pit lately and it scares me sometimes that I’m munching on food that I don’t need and shouldn’t be having.  My weight is ok, down to 148.   I’m still not drinking enough.  I’m off work after tomorrow for the rest of the week, so I will be focusing on several things, including getting more exercise, eating and drinking like I know I should, working on my housekeeping and working on my blog agenda.  My older daughter’s birthday is Friday, she will be 12 years old already.  She’s requested a birthday dinner at The Melting Pot, which is where my 10 year old had her last birthday as well.  I’ve been dying to go there again, so that works for me.
